Sloth blocks facebook.com at three levels: DNS hosts file, packet filter firewall, and browser tab redirect. Works in Safari, Chrome, Arc, Brave, Edge. You can't get around it by switching browsers or using incognito mode.
Block during work, allow on breaks
Set a schedule to block Facebook weekdays 9 to 5. Or use a daily budget to give yourself 15 minutes. Once the budget runs out, Facebook is gone until tomorrow. The daemon keeps it blocked even if you quit the app.
